Walking Dead la série télé?

I’ve already made a post about walking dead the comics and no this one is not to talk about the second opus of the french adaptation. This post is about the TV show!

From paper to TV :The comic book is having a great success basically because of the way Robert Kirkman (writer) is telling the story.

You’re passionate by the story of those people trying to survive in world full of zombies. I’ve to say that I was a little disturb by the change of drawer between the first issue and the second, but the story! the story is so good that you can stop reading it.

AMC is planning to adapt the famous comic book for TV and for that they plan to have Frank Darabont on board. And that’s the point, Frank Darabont. Writer and director, this guy is a genius and I believe he could bring what this show need to be great!!

Why on TV? well because this story need to be made in the best way! And the complexity of the story and the changes of characters will fit better on TV rather than in a movie. You should made too much movie or cut too much part of the story if it was adapt like that. On TV you can made hundreds of episodes if needed or if the TV show works.

here’s some words from AMC VP of programs Joel Stillerman about the TV Show

This is not about zombies popping out of closets. This is a story about survival, and the dynamics of what happens when a group is forced to survive under these circumstances. The world is portrayed in a smart, sophisticated way.

And Krikman says:

Obviously every fan wants him to be able to say a word on his own creation. To keep the spirit of the story. And don’t worry because he is going to be Executive producer on that TV show.

Robert Kirkman has been interviewed by CBR and I invite you to go on their website and read it

Well I’m very excited about this project and I hope it will be soon on TV so I can watch it!! :)
