C’mon don’t tell me you don’t know him! Batman the hero dressed like a Bat. Yeah Bruce Wayne the multibillionaire with some personal issue since he saw his mother and father killed in front of him.

Of course you know him Batman is one of the most popular character of DC comics and he’s made a huge noise since Christopher Nolan has relaunched the movie serie, with « Batman Begins » and « Batman: The Dark Knight ».

Obviously all this noise, and all the money they’ve earned from that, made them think that it could be the right time to launch another game starring the dark hero.

Best super hero game ever ?

And here it is « Batman: Arkham Asylum ». After a great buzz around this game and some pictures post here and there, Eidos Interactive (game editor) and Rocksteady (game developper) are now showing the first pictures, videos of what should be one of the greatest super hero game.

The game is already available in the US but it will be released in France TOMORROW !!! Yeah that’s right, run, run, damn it! run!

But this game is all about what?

As mentioned in the title the game will be played in the Arkham Asylum one the most « famous » asylum, where every bad guys that Batman ever captured are.

The game is just amazingly designed, gothic just the way we love Batman’s environement. Shabby, dark and violent in this game you will follow a desoriented Batman manipulated by the scarecrow.

Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Bane and the scarecrow want to go out of the asylum and you will have to stop them switching from action to infiltration. You will unblock new equipments and skills during your adventure…

Can’t wait to get it and play for at least 15 hours on it until I finish it!

Le dossier éditeur est presque prêt (patience) il reste plus que le lettrage anglais et le dossier partira aux US pour y être présenté. En attendant Mike à fait de super Robot design que je m’empresse de vous montrer ici.

Comme prévu le Comicon / Japan Expo à eu lieu à Paris et comme prévu j’y suis allé faire un tour. Il m’aura fallu 3 heures de trajet dans une chaleur démentielle, collé à des milliers de personnes dans le RER pour l’atteindre (et pourtant j’habite Paris), mais quand on aime on ne compte pas comme on dit.

Bref une fois dedans qu’est-ce qu’on a? Une flopée de stand de revente de mangas, d’occasions, neufs et tous les objets qui font le bonheur de tous les fans. Les objets qui m’ont marqué et sur lesquels j’aurais craqué sont les maillots de foot d’Olive et Tom!! En un stand  je me suis revu à 12 ans devant la téloche à regardé Oliver décroché un super tir canon de la mort qui tue.

Mais en plus de ça évidemment il y’avait un paquet de personnes déguisé, certains avaient des costumes vraiment top et d’autres et bien… on fait ce qu’on peut des fois.

Défilé de personnes costumé sur scène, exposition de voitures (certaines avec l’insigne des transformers dessus), stand de jeux vidéo géant, conférence avec des artistes, dédicaces enfin bref le Japan Expo c’était la totale et franchement c’était l’éclate.
Je me suis permis un arrêt au stand Nintendo pour un retour au source en jouant Mario Bros et un petit test du nouveau Wii Resort qui va sortir le 27 juillet. Ensuite arrêt délire sur le stand Ubisoft avec un gros focus sur les Lapins crétins et leur nouvelle aventure.

J’ai fini ma visite par le must le « méga » stand de la 501 ^{ème unité} de Star Wars.  Et là que du bonheur, des décors grandeurs nature, un snowspeeder dans lequel on pouvait monter, un speederbike, des stormtroopers, des jedi girls et petit bonus la porte des étoiles grandeur réelle.

Bref un super Comicon / Japan Expo pour les fans. Evidemment pour les professionnels les jours clé étaient plutôt Jeudi et Vendredi.
